While attempting to answer some information for a friend, I came upon a blog entry by one of the Nelson Agency editors. It turns out that the agency had their auto-responder replying to submissions sent to their office with rejections during the holidays. I sent them my query around 8 am mountain time...and the post was made near close of business. Point is...they recommended to everyone who submitted over the holidays to resubmit on Monday...as in, this past Monday.
So...I have sent Nelson my new and improved query letter. With any luck, I pulled it off this time. Crossing fingers.
